I'm available as a private English tutor and English course teacher at Adult English School in Sydney city. 

I bring to your lessons my skills as a CELTA graduate and have several years experience teaching English to speakers of other languages. 

You'll find that I am a native English speaker, and that I also speak clear, easy to understand English. I also speak some Japanese, Mandarin and Korean so I understand what it is like to learn another language.

I can help you prepare for IELTS, OET, EAP, TOEIC, TOEFL, FCE and other English tests.

If you need help with pronunciation or grammar, I can assist you too. I have a number of exercises on pronouncing particular sounds using specific vocabulary relevant to your background and abilities.

My name is Meitty from Indonesia. I was one of Adult English School's students a couple of weeks ago with John O'Loughlin as my teacher. I came to John a week before my IELTS test. Desperately needed 7 for my academic writing. Previously in 2007 I had 6 for my writing, so I needed to step up 1 score band. 

Thanks to AES and John my overall band score for Academic IELTS is 8. I have 8 for my listening, 8.5 for reading, 7 for writing and 7.5 for speaking. It such a BIG LEAP that opened up new possibilites for me. Thank you very much John! I really appreciate the feedback and especially the pointers of my weird bad habit of subject verb agreement anomalies as well as some tenses use.
